Printing Black & White Photo From Color Negative

Black and white photos appeal more sometimes. They give classic look and are specially my style. With some tricks on paper and filter you can print black and white photos from color negatives. The process is explained below.

Make the masking frame suitable to the boarder on the paper. The distance from the paper to light should be 4 feet and 7.5 watt amber safe light should be used.  Image  size then can be  adjusted  with the help of enlarger. You should always make the solution ready and keep them in right place so there will be no mistake or hurry when the work starts. Put all the filters starting from 4 to 5 and 6 and switch off the enlarger light. Panchromatic photography print paper then be used in  masking frame. Time and aperture setting strictly matters so apply them carefully. Now  set the timer and  turn the enlarger on. Now the paper is ready to  process.

You will get your classic look photo from the color negative in this way.

Understanding Digital Photography: Techniques in Getting a Great Picture

Eyes are the onlt things that we use to view the environment. But man has through times invented devices and ways to prserver and store such scence and one such device is Camera.

Cameras store  images and they show us things that had happened in past and it make our heart feel things that can happen in future. In good old days film cameras were much popular but now the time has come for digital cameras. These devices can make our creativity go high and truly break our emotional barier.

Digital Cameras are relatively new devices but they have become intensilvely popular because of their ability to manipulate images. But just presence of camera does not gurantee that you will have great images.

There are some points you need to know to have great pictures from Digicams.

Always zoom to have a greater detail of your object. This alloe you to have greater empahisze on the object.

1. Zoom in to capture the part you want to emphasize. Thus, irrelevant objects or areas can be taken away or just allow them to soften.

2. When you shoot a moving object , always shoot them in moving process from one of the two sides.

3. Shoot an straight line by moving five feets away to capture the angle.

4. Always shoot the image and lower vantage point because more height can decrease the empasize on object.

5. Aranfe the dominant object in order so that they start complimenting each other. asummetrical images dont look good to the eyes and can damage the efect of the image

6. Frames can be use to shoot outdor or  moving images.

7. Always try to use natural light because this will not bother the object from the flash of the camera.

8. Learn how to adjuct aperture, this will help you to make sure that images dont look either too dim or too bright.
 
9. ISO speeds of Camera is one another feature that helps to magnify an image. The higher the ISO spped more will the camera be sensitive to light;s exposure.

10. Lens are one vital aspect of Cameras. These allows you to point the object. Lenses come in diferent variety. Like macro lens, wide angle lens, telephoto lens. Filters are too important for the camera. They softens the effect on imag and blur the sides of portraits. They add dflares to image to make it more bright and reduce glare to make a picture more crisp.

There are also lots of softwares that will help you manipulate the images . They are like: Adobe Photoshop, Apple;s iphoto, Google Picasa, etc.

You have to learn and master the tricks of camera before you can shoot great images. One you learn them you will find that getting a image is not that big deal.

Your Choice of Digital Photography Printing

Next big thing in digital photography is having your images printed on paper. The problem with printing digital images on paper is that though you manipulate images through softwares but that effects wont come on paper unless you use good quality equipments. You need a good printer in order to have great images printed on paper.

The increasing number of digital cameras opened up the way for manufactuing differnet kinds of printers. Printing photos is not same as printing plain texts. A printing device to print a photo needs high quality priniting abilty to print good images.

There are differnet ways to print your images . Each is different from one and each ahs its own advantages and disadvantages You should know what to use in which condition.

1. Photo store.

Traditionally we used to bring films in photo store to develop them which is still in practice. But now instead of films  , memory cards are used to print the images . Phot store have high quality devices that can print great pictures. Moreover they can improve your images according to you . All yo need to do is specify them with your instructions.

But you have to wait in a photo store to get your photos develped. Though the time is less then developing  a film but still it requires some time. Next disadvantages is that their printing device may not be according to your requiremnet and the photos may get blurred while printing.

2. Home printer.

Homeprinters are increasingly getting popular due to their ability to instantly print the pictures. Many people are now buying printer to install at their homes so they can get prints whenver they want.

In home printer , you can edit and manipulate your images as you want and finalise it before printing. in this process you only have to make sure that your printer is suited to
your digital camera. Using home printers you do  not have to wait for prints and you have to do is plug the camera and get the pictures to your computer and print from there.

But the disadvantages of this process is that yo ucannot have options to choose from and the intial setup cost might go high in buying a home printer.

Digital photography printing has lots of options but you have to choose one rationally.
